RIVER from Quebec, Canada hit our Jackpot, an amazing $67,878, on July 14, 1999. We paid him in cash: in one lump sum as he wished. He was so kind and agreed to share his feelings with us:

"I am not what you would call a typical gambler. I had always dreamed of taking my wife on a trip to Las Vegas, 'cause I had heard so much about the city and the quick money. So I planned a vacation for my wife and I last Christmas. At first we were so nervous, for we had heard so many stories about people "making or breaking" themselves gambling at the crap tables or playing the slot machines. Well, my wife, Sarah, turned out to be the lucky one. Our first night in the casinos we bought several rolls of quarters and decided to try our luck.
