Here is how you can enter and be considered for next month's featured story:
Submit your story to winnerstory@slotland.com. Submission must be made no later than the 20th of the current month. Your story must have occurred within the past 3 months. Please identify the winning game(s) and amount(s) that made this a memorable event for you.
We reserve the right to rephrase or delete portions of your story (in order to make it fit in the newsletter); however, in no manner will we alter the actual facts of the story (such as game played, amount won, etc.). We further reserve the right to use your story in other forms of media in the future.

MONTHLY WINNER STORY!

This month we offer another great winner story, this time from MISSMICHELLE, who broke the treasury on Treasure Box at $lotland:

Treasure Box aka my slotland savings account. About six months ago, my husband and I ran into a tight spot as far as money is concerned. No big tragedy; just little things catching up and putting the squeeze on us. As fate would have it our computer, an old emachines 566mhz, decided to break down, giving us a way to save some money: no more gambling and about $50 a month for Internet service. At that time our treasure box was holding around $800 for us.

About two months ago we finally got the computer fixed but my husband had his own little breakdown, a very minor heart attack that landed him in the hospital for about a week. Needless to say, the computer and gambling weren't at the top of my list for a while. As a matter of fact I completely forgot about my treasury.

As the story goes my husband went to his cardiologist appointment on the 8th and received a 100% clean bill of health. We were both so excited and wanted to celebrate a bit. We made plans to go to San Xavier mission for the day to give thanks and enjoy some Indian fry bread. Unfortunately, we got hit with a monsoon storm that washed out the road to the mission early Saturday morning. Since we were stranded at home, we decided to play on the computer but we couldn't decided where to play. My husband said "Hey, don't we have $800.00 or so in the treasury at Slotland?"

After a while, sure enough 777 comes up and we are able to cashout $1200! As we all know cashouts are processed every Tuesday and as right as the rain that kept us home that day it was in my bank account Wednesday morning. My husband and I are going to enjoy our two-night stay at the fanciest hotel in town with nothing but room service to worry about.
