Let me set the scene for you.

It is early Spring here in Ohio and it's my birthday. I am pacing the house, as we have reservations at a riverboat casino on the Ohio River. After a month of anticipation and preparation (including finding a babysitter to stay all night with our 4 children) the worst thing possible has happened - a spring snowstorm.

I took turns either glued to the weather channel or staring out the windows. The snow piled up all afternoon. Around 3:00 my husband called from work with the bad news, 7 inches of snow on the ground - 8 more forecasted and wind that produced almost blizzard-like conditions. We were going nowhere. With a heavy heart, I called and cancelled our hotel reservations and received little solace when the hotel employee related that the storm was even worse where they were.

My husband came home early from the storm and presented me with an option - why don't you put some money in Slotland for your birthday? Well, I have to be honest, the games at Slotland had not been very kind to me as of late and I wasn't real sure I wanted to play there. After looking at some other places, I realized that Slotland was still the best, so that's where I put my money.

I headed straight for Treasure Box - that game had been a vacuum cleaner to my bank account for the last year and a half and I just knew that it was going to hit. It didn't start out well at all and before I knew it, I was down to my last $20. I had a decision to make, I was betting all the lines and spending $2 a pop - should I change to a cheaper game? Nope, I decided I'm going for it. And then it happened, three 7s, I won the treasury! I won over $500!!!!

I was on cloud nine and my husband did a little dance and started singing Happy Birthday at the top of his lungs. I went on to play a couple of other games and got my balance up to $700.
