Our most recent jackpot winner is OOHLAHMA from Mississippi, who won a record-setting $162,514 while playing Booster on April 26, 2005! When we contacted OOHLAHMA, we were surprised to find that OOHLAHMA is really TWO players working with one account. Here is their story...

"We have been playing at $lotland for over three years now. I am a 57-year-old widow, and my brother is 55 and also widowed. We have lived together for the past five years, ever since my brother's diabetes became more severe. His vision is pretty limited due to his disease, so we really love the big slots you have at Slotland. We use WebTV, and we have a large screen TV, so he can easily see the results of each spin.

Each month, we each invest $200 to play at Slotland. I say "invest" because we have strict rules which we follow, as we are on a limited budget. Each week, we deposit $100 from our shared account, and we follow our game plan, which is to start low and work our way up on our bets. Also, each week, we select one machine which we focus on. We have a fun way of picking our machine of the week; we have the name of each machine printed on a card, and they sit in a special Slotland bowl. Each Sunday, we take turns picking a card from the bowl to find our machine to play. Our final rule is as follows: if our $100 drops to $50, we cash out for the week. If we double our money or better, we take our original $100 back and play with the profits.

Last week, we picked Booster, which we both love. We have played it quite a bit over the past, and we had over $500 in our Fund. We have twice before entered the win/lose round, only to watch our lost funds REALLY get lost in the win/lose round! Well, this time, within 5 minutes of playing, we hit the row of chips to enter us in the win/lose round. We had $575 in our fund and I closed my eyes as my brother clicked the handle. I only opened my eyes after he whooped out loud that we won it! This was definitely the biggest win we had at Slotland and I was all for cashing in $500. My brother argued that the machine was hot and we should only cash in $100, as we always did in the past. I couldn't stand the thought of losing that $575, but finally got him to agree to cash out $300, which was less than half of our current bankroll.

So he did the withdrawal and told me that he wanted to go right back to Booster. I figured we had nothing to lose, now that we were ahead, so I agreed and back he went. By this time, my brother convinced me to just go for the maximum bets, so we were spinning $5 each round. It seemed like every third or fourth spin would produce another win, although most of them were pretty small wins. Then we got the flashing boost symbols, and I thought my brother was crazy when he said he was boosting it to $50! Before I could argue with him, he clicked the little lever and off it spun. We were so absorbed by these $300 and $500 wins, we were just praying for another row of grapes or better. Well, it was certainly better! In fact, it couldn't get any better, as we watched all three boost symbols fall across the pay line!

Now my brother is not the most demonstrative person, but when it sank in that we just won over $160,000, he leaped up and pulled me out of my chair and started dancing around the room with me. I swear we both felt like kids on Christmas morning at that moment!

What are we going to do with all of this money? It is going to be fun to figure out what to do with it all. We have some medical bills to pay off, plus a little bit of our mortgage remaining, which will also be paid off. After that, we are planning a trip together. We have both always wanted to visit China, so we are planning to go there later this year. As to the rest, well thank goodness we both have grandchildren, because they are going to get some super gifts this coming Christmas!"
